THE MAGICAL OF GARBAGE ENZYME
Fermentation takes 3 months. Should worms appear in your enzyme solution, add in a handful of sugar (Do not use white sugar), mix well & cap the bottle tightly. They will disappear overnight !
Garbage enzyme is a complex organic substance of protein chains and mineral salts produced by the fermentation of kitchen waste, brown sugar and water. Easily made at home, the finished product is dark brown and has a strong sweet & sour fermented scent. It has the capacity to break down, change, create and catalyze, thus making it a wonderful cleaning solution.
Garbage enzyme solution was developed by Dr Rosukon Poompanvong, a Thai doctor specializing in alternative medicine. A pioneer in Thailand's organic farming, she has been actively involved in enzyme research for more than thirty years & encourages people to make garbage enzyme from kitchen trash to help ease global warming. Dr Rosukon is one of the winners of the 2007 Fervent Love of Lives Medals, an award created by Taiwan's Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural & Educational Foundation.
Garbage Enzyme is a non-toxic, anti-bacterial household cleanser that can also be used in offices & for agriculture & animal farming. As a household cleaning liquid, it acts as an acti-bacterial solution that removes foul odours and grime. Effective for cleaning carpets, laundry washing, mopping floors & cleaning cars, this super liquid seems able to spread its magical powers to clean human body & hair as well ! Other than that, the scent released from kitchen waste fermentation acts as an air purifier that dissolves toxic air released from smoking & car exhaust gases.
The enzyme is a natural pesticide that also reduces foul odours & infections in the farm. Using garbage enzymes in agriculture to convert sandy land to fertile farm land reduces the use of chemical fertilizers. This natural fertilizer converts ammonia to nitrate, a natural nutrients for plants. Besides being used to clean the dirty & impure water in the farm, these enzymes can be added to animal feed & water to aid in their food digestion.
An Earth-saving enzyme, the garbage enzyme reduces pollution caused by chemical household cleaners. Catalysis from the fermentation of fresh kitchen waste releases ozone gas & water, thus reducing the greenhouse effect & global warming. With its multitude of benefits, if every household makes and uses this enzyme, we will all be the better for it.
